LocalCatch

Inspired by the desgin of Zillow, LocalCatch is share platform that for fishiing enthusiasts and their catches. It provides a space for anglers to post their catches, to talk about it with the local community, and perhaps find when, where and under what conditions they're going to find their next Trophy Catch.
  • Integrated Google Maps API and accessing map scoping to populate map scope with relevant entries using latitude and longitude coordinates.
  • Built a comprehensive search filter by selecting from state with search keywords and toggle filters.
  • Set project in virtual environment package using Docker containers virtualization to make deployment to Heroku more efficient.
  • Retrieved individual details of weather/climate conditions for all user entries from an external API for a robust browsing experience.

Dicey

An e-commerce platform inspired by Etsy that offers a the opportunity to share homebrew content for Dungeons and Dragons and other Table-Top RPGs.
  • Reduced server load times by storing digital assets on AWS S3.
  • Generated a planning and workflow by framing key functionality in user stories to guide development for engineering team.

GTDnote is a fullstack application that allows users to view, create, update, and delete notes and folders to manage task or projects.
